Dental Assistant

Sensational Smiles is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to support the growth of our practice. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator with a positive attitude and a focus on teamwork. It is important that this candidate be flexible to adapt to our fast-paced, rapidly growing practice, and confidently able to provide the patient-centered care for which we are known.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Current RDA or CDA preferred
  • Nitrous licensure preferred
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules
  • Experience with Dentrix Software preferred
  • Ability to work both independently and as a teammate
  • Display a high level of professionalism
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically

Dental Hygienist

Sensational Smiles is seeking both full and part-time Registered Dental Hygienist(s) with Nitrous and Anesthetic Licensure. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic communicator with a positive attitude and a focus on teamwork. It is important that this candidate be flexible to adapt to our fast-paced, rapidly growing practice, and confidently able to provide the patient-centered care for which we are known.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

  • Current RDH state licensure required
  • Nitrous and anesthetic licensure required
  • Associate or Bachelor Degree in Dental Hygiene required
  • Current CPR certification required
  • Knowledge of HIPAA privacy rules
  • Experience with Dentrix Software preferred

Business Team Member

Sensational Smiles is seeking a full time Business Office Assistant (Treatment/Financial Coordinator). The ideal candidate will have a background in finance, business, or administration with specific experience in an office setting, customer service-oriented business, or medical/dental field. They will show close attention to detail; will be flexible to adapt to our fast-paced, rapidly growing practice; and confidently able to provide the patient-centered service for which we are known.

Qualifications Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinating and discussing new treatment with patients
  • Confidently collecting necessary co-payments and discussing treatment balances with patients
  • Scheduling new and recurring visits
  • Answering inbound and outbound phone calls
  • Processing dental insurance claims
  • Processing incoming patient and insurance payments
  • Navigating numerous dental and office specific computer systems
  • Building strong relationships with patients and team members
  • Being a friendly point of contact for patients who are arriving and departing the office
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Education- High school diploma or equivalency (required), associate or bachelors preferred
  • Experience- One year office assistant/customer service (required)
  • May substitute higher education for experience
  • Working knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word
  • Dental office/software experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork
