Meet the Dentists
Dr. Berdahl was raised in Denver, Colorado, but both sides of his family are from the Sioux Falls area. Dr. Berdahl enjoys creating beautiful, functional smiles that change people’s lives for the better. He feels blessed to have had a career in dentistry for over 35 years.
Outside of the dental office, Dr. Berdahl enjoys playing guitar and singing in a band. He is also an avid traveler, skilled woodworker, 3D printer, and furniture maker. Dr. Berdahl is married to a fantastic woman and has two step-children and two sons. He approaches every day with passion, positivity, and purpose to serve others.

As he shadowed Dr. Mark Berdahl in high school, Jeff saw how much fun he had as a dentist and how enthusiastic he was about his work. He decided then he would become a dentist too, and once he completed his studies, Dr. Feiock joined Sensational Smiles in 2000. He enjoys helping patients achieve optimal dental health and has a particular interest in restorative dentistry.
Dr. Feiock is married to Dr. Amrita Patel and has two amazing children. Outside of work, he enjoys working out and staying healthy. He also loves golfing, skiing, and traveling.

Dentistry runs in the family for Dr. Swingdorf. His father and brother are both dentists, and his mom is a dental hygienist. Dr. Swingdorf had the opportunity to spend his first summer after college in Sioux Falls before starting dental school and, eventually, made his way back here to join the practice in 2012. Dr. Swingdorf enjoys being involved in the community, in health care, and in business, and he believes dentistry is the crossroads of all of those areas. He is continually learning about the best practices in dental implants and restorations. Dr. Swingdorf has three children with his wife, Sarah, who keeps them both busy with school activities and sports on the daily. When not working, he enjoys coaching, sports, hunting, and exercising.

Dr. Anderson has a passion for helping others and was encouraged to be a dentist by Dr. Berdahl while in high school. He loves to have honest discussions with patients about their goals so he can identify the best ways to help them. He is known for his attention to detail, not just in dentistry but in all aspects of his life. From caring for patients to building furniture to practicing the violin, he always strives to do the best job possible.
Family is the most important thing to Dr. Anderson, and he loves spending time with his wife and baby daughter. He says having a child has brought an entirely new perspective to his life, and he loves watching her learn and grow. Dr. Anderson also enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling, as well as building projects at home.

Dr. Hanson credits his mother for his career in dentistry. She encouraged his love of learning and taught him the importance of a strong work ethic. Dr. Henson’s passion in dentistry centers around same-day treatment and helping people quickly relieve pain and discomfort so they can get on with their day. He is known in the dental office for his humor, which helps put patients at ease.
One of Dr. Hanson’s favorite pastimes is traveling around the world with his wife, Jordan. He’s looking forward to getting their daughter’s passport picture taken soon so they can go on more adventures. Dr. Hanson is also a big sports fan and enjoys cheering on the Creighton Bluejays and Baltimore Orioles. In his spare time, Dr. Hanson likes to spoil his dog, Holly, with walks, ice-cream trips, and car rides.

Dr. Benson was born and raised in Sioux Falls and was a patient of Sensational Smiles as a kid! Growing up, he always wanted to work in the health care field. He enjoys helping people and positively impacting their lives. He also loves building relationships with his patients and providing them with high-quality dental care.
On weekends, Dr. Benson loves to spend time with his family and friends, and staying active is important to him. He also enjoys watching and playing a variety of sports, including basketball, pickleball, golf, and water sports.
